HOPE MILLS Mr. Elbert Wallace Dew, 65, of 5713 Newton St. passed away Wednesday, June 8 at Highsmith-Rainey Hospital in Fayetteville. He was a native of Sampson County, the son of Elbert G. Ray Dew and Eva Ruth Strickland Dew. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 11 at Bethany Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery. Survivers: six sisters, Loretta D.
