Mrs. Eileen (Van Duyne) Murray, 85 went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 29, 2024 at UNC Rex Hospital.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Bryan Strickland officiating.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 3:30 PM on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Murray was a native of Passaic County, New Jersey, the daughter of Edward and Mary Connolly Van Duyne. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Stewart Murray; and her daughter, Susan da San Martino.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Donna Ford and husband, Elwyn of Dunn; three grandchildren, Sara Ford; Adam Ford and wife, Lindsey; and Lauren Carter (Ben and Tyler); two great-grandsons, Robert and Layton; and two sisters, Mary Lebeda and Margaret Butterworth.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mt. Carmel Church of God Of Prophecy Van Ministry Fund 1615 Mt. Carmel Church Road Autryville, NC 28318.
