Mr. Edward Ray Watson, 61

AUTRYVILLE

Mr. Edward Ray Watson, 61 of Autryville, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, March 3, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend James Dees, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Roseboro Cemetery.

He was born May 7, 1955 in Sampson County and formerly worked as a Firefighter with the City of Fayetteville.

He is survived by his wife, Melloney S. Watson; parents, Edward Francis and Virginia Brock Watson; sister, Sheilah Gray and husband David; nephew, William "Billy" Gray; and brother-in-law, Tommy Stanley, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, March 2, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
