Mr. Edward Earl Edge, 79

ROSEBORO

Edward Earl Edge was born on September 16, 1938 to the late Troy and Rosie Jane Horne Edge. He departed his earthly life on May 7, 2018.

He was a mechanic for many years and loved fishing and traveling.

Earl was married to the late Jessie Mae Bullard for 1 year. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ida Mae Shipway; a daughter, Louise Chavis; and a son, Ricky Groves.

Those left to cherish his memories are: Herman Chavis (Alice) of Dunn, Sallie Petrovich (John) of Newport News, Va, Darlene Graham (Rick) of Fayetteville, Gloria McLucas (Wayne) of Fayetteville, Deborah Groves of Arlington, Tx, Estella Groves of the home; 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am Monday, May 14, at Beaver Dam Baptist Church Cemetery, 4693 Beaver Dam Church Road, Roseboro.
