Mrs. Edna Louise Tew

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Edna Louise Tew, 80, of 2989 Howard Road, Autryville, passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 3:00 P. M. at Union Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Allen West and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Tew was a native of Sampson County and the daughter of the late Lonnie and Irma Gladys Matthews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Tew and a brother, Max Matthews. She worked at Belk before retiring and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Tew is survived by: daughter, Gale Harris and husband Gary, of Autryville; granddaughter, Jennifer Matthews and husband Dean, of Autryville; two great-grandchildren, Abbie Matthews and Jesse Matthews. The family will receive friends Tuesday night, November 6, 2007 from 6 till 8 P. M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
