Edna Earl Lamm was born on August 4, 1937 to Frederick Mack Lamm and Louise Lemmons in Wilson, NC. Edna received her formal education through the Wilson Public School System.
Edna accepted Christ as her Savior here at Union Grove Baptist Church. Edna spent most of her career working for General Electric and the IRS until her retirement in the early 90's.
In her leisure, Edna enjoyed listening to country music, particularly Alan Jackson. She was also a big fan of UNC basketball. More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, reading and walking.
That's the woman we always knew her to be. feisty, strong, fearless and a heart of gold.
And she'd be the first to tell you that she could take care of herself without any bodies help.
Edna was truly blessed and she will be missed. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick and Louise Lamm and her loving husband, Bobby Ray Tew.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Lisa Morrison; grandson, Michael Honeycutt; great grandson, Zachary Honeycutt; daughter-in-law, Beverly Morrison; granddaughter-in-law, Missy Honeycutt; sister, Judy Lamm; brother, Fred Lamm; and a host of friends.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
