Mrs. Edna Wall Howard, 87

SALEMBURG

Mrs. Edna Wall Howard, 87 of 506 Salem Circle, Salemburg, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her home.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 740 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg, with Reverend Ernest King and Reverend Randy Barker officiating. Interment will follow at Bladen Memorial Gardens, NC Highway 242, Elizabethtown.

Born on February 18, 1929 in Bladen County, she was the daughter of the late G.B. and Thelma Ward McKeithan; first husband, James Norman Wall, Sr.; second husband, Max Howard; and two brothers, George McKeithan, Howard McKeithan.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Kay Hedrick and husband Robert of Raleigh, James Norman Wall, Jr. and wife Kim of Goldsboro, Steven Gregory Wall and wife Darlene of Clayton, Ronnie Glen Howard and wife Carol of Autryville, Carolyn Howard Herring and husband Jeff of Newton Grove; sister, Kathy Williams of Ocean Isle; 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Saturday at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at her home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Zoar Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 740 Zoar Church Road, Salemburg, NC 28385, in memory of Mrs. Edna.
