Mrs. Edna Catherine (Cain) Smith, 96 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at The Enclave in Clayton.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Live Oak United Methodist Church with the Reverend Mark Gustafson and Reverend Joyce Carter officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:50 AM on Monday, February 20, 2023 at the church prior to the service.

Mrs. Smith was the daughter of R. Alpine and Bessie Rice Cain. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil Smith; and her daughter, Cathy Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory her son, Alan Smith and wife, Connie of Dickson, TN; her daughter, Mary Leah Kiser and husband, Daniel of Clayton; four grandchildren, Justin Smith, Jessica Freeman (Eric), Stephen Kiser and Sarah Kiser; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Roma Askea, Betty Blackman, Jolene Hopper and Betty Guy.
