ROSEBORO
Ms. Edna Ivey Beasley, 69 of 2241 Pleasant Union Road, died on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Union Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Ms. Beasley was born on February 1, 1942 in Sampson County to the late James Alton and Beatrice Christine Sessoms Williams. She is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Norwood Hugh Ivey; and two sisters, Bettye Doris Butler and Margaret Duke. She worked as an Inspector with Rohm-Haas.
She is survived by: her daughter, Kim I. Hall of Roseboro; two sons, Norwood Duane Ivey of Salemburg and Kenneth Clark Ivey of Dunn; two sisters, Calista Angotti and Chellie Cousins both of New York; one brother, James O. Williams of New York; and seven grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Saturday morning from 11 to 1 P.M. at Pleasant Union Baptist Church in Roseboro.
