Mr. Eddie West

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Eddie West, 43, of 9663 Turnbull Rd., Fayetteville, passed away Monday, October 29 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was a paramedic. He was a native of Cumberland County and was the son of Carl Braxton West and Selma Carter West. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, November 1 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Wilkes and Rev. Tommy Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. He is survived by his mother, Selma West of the home; his sister, Carolyn Eskew of Fayetteville; two brothers, James "Larry" West and George Braxton West, both of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Ocatober 31 from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
