Eddie Gene Norris, Jr., 47 passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2026 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Tommy Knight. Burial will follow at Norris-Hall Cemetery in Stedman.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 21, 2026 at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie Gene Norris, Sr.; grandparents, Mary Pearl Hall, Edison Haywood Norris, Willie Hall, Lessie Mae Taylor and Willie Mack Norris.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Jessica Norris; mother, Katie Norris; brother, Adam Norris & wife, Jennifer; sister, Stephanie Norris & husband, Richard; nieces and nephews, Trey Lewis, BreAnna Norris, Jacob Norris, Anthony Norris, Joshua Castle and Haylee Norris; mother-in-law, Jo Ann Workman; uncle, Alfred Norris & his son, Travis; sister-in-law’s, Terri Norris and Jaquie Workman; and step-daughter, Hannah Cross.
