FAYETTEVILLE
Mr. Eddie Clarence Naylor, Jr., 86 of 4338 Green Bush Avenue, died on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home with Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mr. Naylor was born on October 5, 1925 in Sampson County to the late Eddie Clarence and Roxie Spell Naylor, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ada Pearl Brown Naylor; one son, Robert Craig Naylor; one brother, Troy Naylor; and one sister, Gladys Smith. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and worked as a Lineman with the Public Works Commission in Fayetteville for 35 years.
He is survived by: two sons, Eddie L. Naylor, Sr. and wife, Angela and Donnie R. Naylor and wife, Vivian all of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Jessie Naylor, Tammy Horne, Eddie Naylor, Jr., Jennifer Arias and Robert Naylor; ten great grandchildren, Laken, Alyssa, Michael, LeAnna, Eddie, Tra, Joseph, Aiden, Austin and Lana; one brother, Homer Naylor; and two sisters, Magaline Aikens and Gwenaline Burns.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
