Mr. Earl Tart Odum, 81 passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at his home.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Tommy Honeycutt. Burial will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:45pm Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, H. Merton Odum and Gertrude Greene Odum; daughter, Elaine Odum Sims and sisters, Bonnie Odum and Rachel Odum.
He is survived by his wife, Julia Ann Odum of the home; son, Ronnie Earl Odum & wife, Mintzie of Fayetteville; brother, James Odum & wife, Wilma of Roseboro; sisters, Ada Louise Carter of Garland, Ellen Williams and Margaret Snyder both of Salemburg; grandchildren, Casey Odum of Roseboro and Dylan Odum of Autryville; and a step grandson, Chance Grahl of Fayetteville.
Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC 28382.
