CLINTON
Mr. Earl Hydren Holland, 82 of 46 Hidden Cove Lane, Clinton, died on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, March 28, 2014 at Roseboro First Baptist Church with Rev. Hampton Faircloth and Rev. Dwight Dunning officiating. Entombment will follow in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville.
Mr. Holland was born on April 18, 1931 in Sampson County to the late Herman Perry and Lenna Grantham Holland. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and was the owner and operator of the Boulevard Lawnmower Service in Fayetteville.
He is survived by: his wife, Willa Vann Holland of the home; two sons, William Holland and wife, Nancy of Thomasville and Michael Holland and wife, Lisa of Stedman; three step sons, Tommy Vann of Little Switzerland, James Vann of Clinton, and Donnie Vann of Salemburg; one step daughter, Betty Powell of Warsaw; one sister, Lenna Adcox of Fayetteville; one grandson, Will Holland; two step grandsons, Justin McLemore and Brandon McLemore; four great grandchildren, Jeremiah McLemore, Julius McLemore, Neenah McLemore and Raylinn McLemore.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at his home from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday afternoon from 1:00 to 1:45 P.M. at Roseboro First Baptist Church.
