Mr. E. Preston Sessoms

ROSEBORO Mr. E. Preston Sessoms, 96, of 520 Microwave Tower Road, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2007 at Mary Gran Nursing Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 20, 2007 at 11:00 A. M. at Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Guy and Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County and the son of the late Ernest Mack and Betty Elizabeth Lucas Sessoms. He was a farmer and was preceded in death by his wife, Letha Smith Sessoms and a son, Randall C. Sessoms. Mr. Sessoms is survived by: daughter, Sallie F. McCauley, of Troy, Illinois; son, Floyd B. Sessoms, of Hope Mills; three sisters, Agnes Smith, of Roseboro, Annie Mack Hall, of Hope Mills and Ruth Elma Carty; 8 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday night from 6 till 8 P. M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
