Mr. Douglas Lee Pope, 57 passed away Thursday, August 23, 2018 in Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Richard Spell. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is preceded in death by his father, James F. Pope; wife, Rebecca June Pope; nephew, Darren Johnson and a niece, Kelly Strickland.

He is survived by his children, Bobby, Christopher and Michael Pope and Kenneth; mother, Gladys Rich Pope; brothers, Frank Pope & wife, Carolyn, Jimmy Pope & wife, Barbara and Joe Pope & wife, Lilly; sisters, Nancy Starling & husband, Richard and Kay Willoughby& husband, David; 1 grandson and 3 granddaughters.

The family will receive friends from 2:00pm to 2:45pm Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
