Mr. Dougald Geddie Culbreth, 84

EASTOVER Mr. Dougald Geddie Culbreth of Eastover passed away at his residence on May 15, 2013. He was born May 17, 1928 in Cumberland County to the late James Leon Culbreth and Viola Geddie Culbreth. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, May 17, 2013 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. William Snotherly officiating, and Masonic Rites by the Creasy Proctor Lodge # 679. Mr. Culbreth was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and a member of Creasy Proctor Lodge #679 for over 44 years of which he served as Past Master. He retired from PWC of Fayetteville after 40 years of service. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Pansy P. Culbreth, a son, Michael D. Culbreth and brothers, Jack and Fulton Culbreth. Survivors include son, Larry Culbreth and wife, Jelette of Eastover; daughter, Teresa Culbreth Carter of Eastover; brothers, Donnie Culbreth of Maryland and Kenneth Culbreth and wife Donna of Eastover; half-sister, Jennie McLaurin and husband Tim of Eastover; grandchildren, Beth Sizemore and husband Bob of Eastover, Laura Holman and husband Rusty of Washington, DC, Olivia Swicegood and husband Matt of Stantonsburg, Ryan Culbreth and Whitney Culbreth of Niceville, FL, Brooke Autry and husband Jeremy of Autryville; great grandchildren, Porter Autry and Berkley Swicegood. Memorials may be made to Salem United Methodist Church, 2165 Middle Rd., Eastover, NC 28312. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Rd., Stedman, NC.
