Mrs. Dorothy Harrell, 70 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Funeral arrangements will be announced tomorrow.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Whitey Johnson and Carrie Sanders Johnson; siblings, Marylee Garris and Beck Nickse; and brother-in-law, Doug Nickse.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Steve Harrell; daughters, Dana Harrell, Tonya Willaford and Samantha Jacobs; grandchildren, Hayden, Dawson, Andro, Chase, Kayleigh, Jurnee, and Shelby Lynn; siblings, Linda Lebahn & husband, Tim, Rachel Gilmore & husband, Charlie, Nency Leonardo and Leroy Boyer.
