Mrs. Dorothy W. Hubbard

STEDMAN Mrs. Dorothy Fisher Waddell Hubbard, of 641 Obershea Lane, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11 AM at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Rev. Earl C. West and Rev. Wayne Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in Cross Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Hubbard was the daughter of the late Evander and Maggie Brown Fisher. She was preceded in death by two sons, William and Charles Waddell and a step-son, Stancil Hubbard. She worked at MJ Soffe for 20 years and worked at Tiny Town in Fayetteville for several years. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by: husband Doug Hubbard, of Stedman; two daughters, Elizabeth Oates and Linda Waddell, both of Raleigh; three step-children, Roger Hubbard, of Autryville, Kenneth Hubbard, of Stedman and Linda Faye Barnhill of Eastover; two sisters, Janie Fisher Barnes and Gladys Fisher Bullard, both of Hope Mills; 10 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
