Mrs. Dorothy Jane Hollingsworth, 84

SALEMBURG Mrs. Dorothy Jane Hollingsworth, 84, of 555 Butler Road, Salemburg, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 22, 2007 at Union Grove Baptist Church at 2:00 PM with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt and Rev. John McLamb officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Tabernacle Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hollingsworth was the daughter of the late Perdie and Elizabeth Quirk House. She was preceded in death by her husband, Felton N. Hollingsworth and two sons, Dewey Hollingsworth and Michael Lynn Hollingsworth. Mrs. Hollingsworth is survived by: two daughters, Glenda Smith, of Garland and Wanda Sue Adams, of Port St. Lucie, FL; two daughter-in-laws, Marlene Hollingsworth and Sheila Hollingsworth, both of Salemburg; sister, Edith Walker, of Wade; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
