Dorothy Holland, 101 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

No local services will be held. Services will be handled through Rosewood-Kellum Funeral Home in Virginia Beach, VA.

She was born in New Port News, VA to the late George William Fox, Sr. and Irene Carmines Fox. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, George Calvin Holland, Jr.; and brothers, George William Fox, Jr. & his wife, Geraldine and Earl Dennis Fox, and his wife, Sadie.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, Linda Irene Holland Chitwood & husband, David of Autryville; son, Glenn Alan Holland of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Chitwood Garvey & husband, Nicholas and Christine Tarina Chitwood Grashorn & husband, Ryan; great grandchildren, Silas Calvin Garvey and Dorothy Jeanne Grashorn, and Andrew Glenn Grashorn; sister-in-law, Carolyn Fox Nettles; and many beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
