Mrs. Dorothy Carter Hall, 82

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Dorothy Carter Hall, 82, of 4002 Macedonia Church Rd. died Wednesday, October 1 at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was born in Cumberland County, the daughter of Tom J. Carter and Dora Hall Carter. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 3 at Macedonia Batist Church with Rev. Steve Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Hall is survived by her husband, James E. Hall of the home; two sons, James T. "Tommy" Hall and wife Connie of Fayetteville and George T. "Tim" Hall of Southern Pines; four grandchildren, Matthew Hall of Fayetteville, Jeremy Hall and wife Lindsay of Fayetteville, Jason Hall and wife Shannon of Fayetteville and Amanda Fisher and husband John of Buies Creek; two great grandchildren, Madisyn Hall and Riley Hall. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 P.M. Friday at the church prior to the service. On lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Macedonia Baptist Church Building Fund, 5064 Macedonia Church Rd., Fayetteville, NC 28312.
