AUTRYVILLE
Mrs. Dorothy Hall Faircloth, 75 of 262 Yellowskin Road, died on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at Mt. Carmel Church of God of Prophecy with Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. and Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Faircloth was born on December 25, 1937 in Sampson County to the late Lonnie and Mary Katherine Sessoms Hall. She is preceded in death by: her parents; twin sister, Doretha Faircloth, sister, Retha Thomas; and brothers, Rodell Hall and Levi Hall. She worked as a seamstress with MJ Soffee.
She is survived by: her husband, Perry "Buddy" Faircloth, Jr. of the home; one son, Challie "Skeeter" Fisher and wife Bobbie of Autryville; one daughter, Kathy Bullock and husband Greg of Godwin; one sister, Janice Klungle of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Brenda Calkins, Nikki Sims and Cameron Shaye Hargrove; two-step grandchildren, Tommie Briscoe and Shannon Briscoe; five great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
