HOPEMILLS Mrs. Dorothy Grice Culbreth, 80, of 3021 Bryant Circle, Hope Mills, died December 26, 2012 at Creekside Assisted Living in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Chris Humphreys officiating. Burial will follow in the Cumberland Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Culbreth was born on December 20, 1932 in Bladen County to the late Sydney and Ada Lee Grice. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Victor R. Owens, her second husband, David H. Culbreth; two sisters, Margaret G. Edge and Doris G. Humphries and two brothers, Glenn Grice and Donald Grice. She worked as a sales associate at Capital Department Store. She is survived by: her son, Tim Owens and wife Tammy of Jamestown; her daughter, Donna C. Jones and husband, Kendal of Eastover; three granddaughters, Taylor Alexis Turner of Eastover; Katrina Owens Ballesteros and husband, Marcello of Ft. Riley, Kansas and Casie J. Dowd and husband, Britt of Eastover; two grandsons, Michael Owens and wife, Heidi of Cape Coral, Fl and Charles Owens Jr., of Columbia, SC, five great grandchildren, Nathan, Ethan, Austin, Brayden and Charles III and Kayleigh and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. Friday December 28, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home of her daughter, Donna C. Jones 2250 Dobbin Holmes Road, Eastover, NC. Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
