Dorothy Starling Autry, 78, of Florida and formerly of Autryville, passed away Friday, April 28, 2017 at Florida Hospital in Orange City, Florida.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Andy Wood officiating. Interment was held at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, Florida, on May 2, 2017.

Born June 5, 1938 in Bartow, FL, she was a resident of Deland, Florida, since 2016, moving from Autryville, NC. She was preceded in death by two sons, Rorry and Randy Carnley. She was in the banking industry in Florida and North Carolina for over 50 years.

She is survived by her husband, Grover Autry, of Autryville; a son, Richard Carnley of Deland, FL; three brothers, Charles Starling of Webster, FL, Kenneth Starling of Mobile, AL, and L.C. Starling of Winter Haven, FL; two sisters, Melba Starling of Sebring, FL, and Katherine Daugherty of Groveland, FL; a half-brother, Jimmy Page of Fayetteville; a half-sister, Judy DeCicco of Fayetteville, three grandchildren and one great granddaughter.

Services are by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
