Mrs. Dorothy A. Owens, 61

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Owens, 61, of 1872 Seabrook School Road, Fayetteville, died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at her residence. She was manager of the deli at the Piggly Wiggly store in Roseboro. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 23 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with Rev. Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Salemburg. Mrs. Owens is survived by two daughters, Pamela Jones and Lisa Brewington of Fayetteville; one son, Jimmy Thompson of Fayetteville; five sisters, Ida Edge, Alice Lewis and Betty Locklear of Fayetteville of Fayetteville, Sarah Thompson of Roseboro and Faye Autry of Autryville; three brothers, Roger Starling and Eddie Starling of Fayetteville and Johnny Starling of Stedman; six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 P.M. Tuesday, May 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
