Mrs. Doris Lee Watson Lane, 85 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend John Hobbs officiating. The burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 - 1:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mrs. Lane was native of Bladen County, the daughter of Jesse Conway and Dora Leigh Bordeaux Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Jo Puleo; and brother, Francis Watson. She worked with Sampson Regional Medical Center for 42 years.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 26 years, Jimmy Lane of the home; daughter, Teresa Faircloth and husband, Johnny of Roseboro; two sisters, Joann Tanner of Leland; and Faye Lewis of Autryville; and several special nieces and nephews.
