Mr. Doris Gray Holland Tew, 76

SALEMBURG Mrs. Doris Gray Holland Tew, 76 of 4727 Tyndall Bridge Road, died Sunday September 3, 2006 at Highsmith-Rainey Memorial Hospital in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 6, 2006 at 3:00 P.M. at Zoar Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. W.O. Reiber officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Tew was a native of Sampson County and the daughter of the late John Wesley Holland, Sr., and Lela Simmons. She was a Pattern Designer in the Sewing Factory. Mrs. Tew is survived by: her husband, Earl Tew of the home; two daughters, Barbara Tew of Salemburg, and Diane Tyndall and husband Carl of Salemburg; one son, James Tew, Sr. and wife Joan of Autryville; three sisters, Leatrice Butler of Salemburg, Brenda Marley of Salemburg, and Annie McLamb of Roseboro; one brother, J.W. Holland of Salemburg; 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and 1 step-great grandson. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
