Mrs. Doris E. Faircloth, 60

ROSEBORO Doris Elaine Faircloth of Roseboro, NC departed mortal existence peacefully, joining with all saints victorious in Heaven on July 1, 2008. She was born Doris Elaine Robinson March 24, 1948 in Garland, NC and was happily married to Robert Faircloth for over 35 years. She was a wonderful wife and mother. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Monica Crolle and her husband Jay Crolle of Greenville, NC and Brandon Faircloth and his wife Ashley Faircloth of Roseboro, NC. Her first two grandchildren (twin boys) are expected November 2008 by Monica and Jay. She is also survived by her Mother, Eulene Robinson of Garland, NC, sister Faye Lewis of Oxford, NC, brother Junior Robinson of Garland, NC, and sister Ann Ward of Durham, NC, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, James Gordon Robinson, formerly of Garland, NC. She was a devout Christian woman and served as a children's Sunday school teacher at Holland's Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church for 27 years. She and Robert were also involved with Operation Christmas Child. She was an integral part of her husband's ministry while a lay speaker in the Methodist church and as pastor at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church in Fayetteville, NC for the past two years. She was a legal secretary with Holland, Poole, Holland, and Sanderson PA in Clinton, NC for 34 years. She was adored by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. In addition to flowers, donations can be made to Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church in memory of Doris Faircloth; monies will be forwarded to Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro, NC and an orphanage in Pignon, Haiti, which the Faircloth family has supported for nine years. The family is receiving friends at Butler Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 7 until 9 PM. The funeral service will be at Johnson Memorial United Methodist Church, 306 McArthur Road, Fayetteville, NC on Thursday at 4 PM. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
