ROSEBORO

Ms. Dorinda Mae Williams, 80 of 6590 Minnie-Hall Road, Roseboro, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Southwood Nursing and Retirement Center in Clinton.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, March 17, at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church, 3645 Dunn Road, Roseboro, with Reverend Jeff Bartlett and Reverend Jesse Blalock officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

She was born October 25, 1935, in Cumberland County to the late Kenneth and Mallie Strickland Pope. She worked as a Spinner with Burlington Industries.

She is survived by her daughter, Ann Autry and husband Johnnie of Autryville; sons, Tony Pope and wife Marlene of Autryville, Larry Williams of Stedman; brother, Kenneth "Buddy" Pope and wife Idella of Roseboro; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, March 16, at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, and other times at the home of her brother, 6530 Minnie-Hall Road, Roseboro.
