Mr. Donnie Leon Sessoms, 79 of Salemburg went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 27, 2023 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Pastor Jordan Faircloth and Pastor Billy Chaney officiating.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:50 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 at Butler Funeral in Roseboro.

Mr. Sessoms was a native of Sampson County, the son of Perdie Gipson and Rochelle Hall Sessoms.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He was retired as a heavy equipment operator from Ft. Bragg.  He was an U. S. Army veteran.

He is survived by a daughter, April Hawley and husband, Gordon of Godwin; one grandson, Hunter Hawley.
