Mr. Donnie R. Johnson, 78 of 1025 Jimree Avenue, Eastover, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015 at his home.

The funeral will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Shook officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mr. Johnson was born on April 13, 1937 in Bladen County to the late Daniel Gettie Johnson and Lettie Ruth Johnson. He worked at National Linen Plant.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Faye Johnson of the home; daughter, Kim Johnson Longo and husband, Marc Joseph Longo of Clayton; three grandchildren, Alicia Julia Longo, Madison Angela Longo and Ethan Joseph Longo of Clayton.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2015 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church, 4693 Beaver Dam Church Road, Roseboro and at other times at the home.
