Mrs. Donna Lynn Houghton Blackwell, 52

Mrs. Donna Lynn Houghton Blackwell, 52, of 801 Horseshoe Road, Autryville, passed away Monday, Sept. 25, 2006 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 9-28-2006 at 3 PM at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman with the Rev. Casey Welker officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Blackwell was preceded in death by her mother, Hellon Leola McLamb Houghton and was a former transition coordinator with Cumberland County Head Start. Mrs. Blackwell is survived by: husband, Raymond A. Blackwell, Sr., of the home; four sons, Raymond A. Blackwell, Jr., of Fayetteville, Michael S. Blackwell, of Roseboro, Charles T. Blackwell and Brandon J. Blackwell, both of Autryville; daughter, Jamie L. Carter, of Roseboro; 9 grandchildren, Cody Blackwell, Ashley Blackwell, Angel Blackwell, Michael Blackwell, Jr., Marissa Blackwell, Seth Blackwell, Ethan Blackwell, Austin Blackwell and Danica Carter; father, Charles F. Houghton, of Roseboro; five brothers, Frederick Houghton, of Florida, James Houghton, of Texas, Charles A. Houghton, of Fayetteville, Joseph Houghton, of Smithfield, Michael Houghton, of Salemburg; three sisters, Helen Gabbard, of Roseboro, Katrina Lagos, of Autryville and Lucille Phillips, of Hope Mills. The family will recieve friends Wednesday night from 7-9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
