Mr. Donald Earl Wood, 64 went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 10, 2021 at First Health - Hoke.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery with the Reverend Donald Baldwin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Friday, September 17 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

Mr. Wood was a native of Cumberland County the son of Charles D. Wood, Sr. and Jewel Keith Strickland Wood. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles D. Wood, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two sons, Jeremy Wood of Wendell; and William Tart and wife, Michelle of Raeford; daughter, Tanya Smith and husband, Tommy, Jr. of Hope Mills; six grandchildren, Robert Wright, Timothy Smith, Tyler Tart, Taylor Smith, Hunter Smith and Raelyn Tart; two brothers, David Wood and Darrell Wood; and three sisters, Edna Edwards, Wanda Teets and Darlene Wright.
