Donald Glenn Lewis, 72 passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at UNC Rex Healthcare.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Wiley Autry Cemetery, officiating will be Pastor Jerry Hood.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the graveside.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jasper Wade Lewis and Mary Pearl Byrd Lewis; wife, Linda Lewis; and his brother, Harry Keith Lewis.

Donald loved bear and raccoon hunting, and fishing.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Kelly Lewis, Jeff Roden (Audrey), Melonie Schmid (Marc), and Gennifer Meeks (Gary); grandchildren, Kyle Roden, Cassandra Haggart, Jessica Jacobs, Cierra and Logan Mitchell; great grandchildren, Kyler, Colin and Addyson Roden, Isaih Haggart, Trynatee Byrd, Savannah and Lane Jewell; siblings, Jackie Lewis (Debby), Wanda Walters, Mary Grice, and Annette Tauzell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
