Mrs. Dixie P. Starling, 87

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Dixie Page Starling 87, died at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Stedman. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park in Fayetteville. Mrs. Starling was a homemaker and caring mother and was beloved by many friends she took in as family. She is preceded in death by: her parents, William Ross and Pearlie Page; one brother, William R. "Sammy" Page Jr; one sister, Jessie Maxine Hall; one daughter, Barbara Page; and one grandson, Robbie Autry. Mrs. Starling is survived by: one son, Jimmy Page and wife Bonnie of Fayetteville; one daughter Judith DeCicco of Fayetteville; one brother, Craven Page,Sr.; seven grandchildren, Yvonne Johnson of Hope Mills, Cindy Black of Stedman, Craig and Scott Autry of Florida, Angie Carpenter of Sharpsburg, NC and David and Michael Rouse of Kenansville, NC; and six great grandchildren, Robbie Johnson, Trevor and Christian Black, Logan Autry and Dustin and Danielle Carpenter. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2009 from 2 until 3 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
