Ms. Dixie Sessoms Wrench, 82 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at Harnett Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Clement Baptist Church, officiating will be Pastor Scott Keith.  Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM Sunday at the church prior to the service.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mittie Matthews Sessoms, and her husband, Jackie Wrench.

Dixie was a lifetime member of Clement Baptist Church, and during her time there she enjoyed many groups that she was a member of including:  The Straudia Autry Sunday School Class, Clement Classics, and Covers of Love Group.  She was also a retired teacher’s assistant with Cumberland County Schools.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Richard Wrench & wife, Donna of Godwin, Kelli Wise & husband, Michael of Moseley, VA, and Greg Wrench & wife, Gloria of Stedman; grandchildren, Matthew Wrench & wife, Morgan, Nicholas Wrench & wife, Hannah, Heather Wrench, Savannah Horrell & husband, Dylan, Jacob, Jackson and Jordan Wise; and great grandchildren, Logan, Mason, Nathan, Julia and Dylan Wrench.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dixie’s memory to Clement Baptist Church for “The Clement Classics Group”, 6020 Maxwell Road, Autryville, NC  28318.
