LUMBER BRIDGE
Ms. Dianna Capps LeCroy, 72 of Lumber Bridge and formerly of Fayetteville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, January 3, 2014 surrounded by her family.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 7 at People's Baptist Church with Rev. Robert W. Guynn and Rev. L. D. Creech officiating. Burial will follow in the Cross Creek Cemetery.
Ms. LeCroy was born on April 22, 1941 in Cumberland County to the late William Oliver and Marian Frances Askea Capps. She spend most her life in Fayetteville, where she attended Fayetteville High School. She was a sales clerk for CVS Pharmacy. She was a member of People's Baptist Church.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all. She was faithful to her Lord since April of 1963 when she accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior.
She is survived by one daughter, Donna Mischel Geller of Hampton, Va; one son, Daniel Lane LeCroy and wife, Sheila of Lumber Bridge; one sister, Linda Capps Smith of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Christina Flaherty, Derrill Geller and Bryan Geller; three step grandchildren, Tonya Fountain, Toni Poling and Tammy Wiggins; and 5 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday, January 6 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home.
