Ms. Diane Joy (Pomeroy) Parker, 72 passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family.

The family will have a Celebration of Diane’s Life from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, October 30, 2022 at The Elk's Lodge, 3269 Gables Drive, Fayetteville, NC  28301.

Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Charles Franklin Pomeroy and Fayoline Mae (McKay) Pomeroy; her husband and love of her life, Mark “Sam” Parker; and her siblings, Cindy Belansky and Terry Pomeroy.

Diane worked for many years at the Rubbermaid Plant in New York, was a CNA in New York and North Carolina and did medical transport in New York for many years.  She also resided for 9 years with her late husband, Sam.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Joey Lucente & wife, Katrina; daughter, Joyane Jackson & husband, Felton; step-daughters, Debra Lingerfelt and Barbara Preato; grandchildren, Raven Lucente & wife, Maya, Suton Lucente and Deagan Jackson; brothers, Larry and Charles Pomeroy; sister, Suzie Pomeroy; and some of her good friends, Melissa and Bonnie that she met while working at the Rubbermaid Plant, and Debbie Marquis and Judy.
