Mr. Dewey Gregory Melton, 55

STEDMAN Mr. Dewey Gregory Melton, 55 of 1324 Magnolia Church Road, Stedman, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at his home. He was born August 12, 1960 in Cumberland County to Dewey Calvin Melton and Jean Honeycutt Melton. He is proceeded in death by his father, and worked as a Counselor with Turning Point. He is survived by his mother, Jean Honeycutt Melton of Stedman; three sisters, Jo Autry, Gaye Spivey and husband Larry, Amy McDaniel and husband Charles, all of Stedman; nieces and nephews, Leslie Houston and husband Andrew, Lisa Autry and husband Jason, Tracy Autry, Lela Godfroy, Jackson Godfroy; and great niece and nephews, Caroline Houston, Mason Autry, Asher Autry. A memorial service will be held 7:00 pm Thursday, October 29 at Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman, with Reverend John Blackman and Reverend Jason Whitfield officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
