Mr. Dewey W. Lewis, 66

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Dewey Winston Lewis, 66, of 300 Lofton Dr., Fayetteville, died Sunday, May 20 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He was retired from Kelly-Springfield where he was a Tire Inspector. He was a veteran of The US Navy where he served in the Seabees. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 23 at Autryville Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Ronald Long and Rev. Jeff Burkhardt. Burial will follow at LaFayette Memorial Park. Mr. Lewis is survived by: his wife, Helen Faircloth Lewis of the home; two sisters, Gertrude Clow of Fayetteville and Margaret "Frankie" Long of Elizabethtown; one brother, J.T. Lewis of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M., Wednesday, May 23 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Autryville Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 26, Autryville, NC 28318. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
