Dentley Tyndall, 95

SALEMBURG

Mr. Dentley Tyndall, 95 of Salemburg, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

The funeral will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 31, at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Reverend Paul Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

Born January 28, 1922 in Sampson County, he was the son of the late Ronnie and Allie Beal Tyndall. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Ruby L. Tyndall; son, J.D. Tyndall, sisters, Berthena Jones, Pearline Williams, Nadine Pope; and brother, Ottis Tyndall.

He is survived by his daughters, Wanda Lewis and husband Rock of Salemburg, Linda Miskimen and husband James of Roseboro; sons, Sammy Tyndall and wife Karen of Roseboro, Terry Tyndall of Florida; brother, Curtis Tyndall and wife Mavis of Salemburg; 15 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45pm Thursday prior to the service, and other times at 207 S. Main Street, Salemburg.
