Denny Davis, 71 of Fayetteville passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 26, 2024.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Louis Pender.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM at the funeral home prior to the service.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM,  Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Redbud Baptist Church Cemetery, 832 NC 58 Hwy, Castalia, NC.

Denny was born on June 22, 1952 to the late Max and Sara Davis.  In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his twin brother, Kenny Davis.  He served his country in the United States Army and from 1978 until his passing he was a dedicated police officer serving and helping people throughout his career.  He was also a fireman in North Carolina for 5 years.

He is survived by the love of his life, Sandy Leonard Davis; two sons, Wayne Davis and Tim Davis (Misty); two step-children, Herbert "Bo" Leonard, Jr. and Sharon Leonard; grandchildren, Jaxon, Maci and Lincoln; step grandchildren, Gabriel, Taylor and Mason; and his brother, Daryl Davis.
