Dennis Edi-Ra Shamblin, 55 passed away on Saturday, May 20, 2023.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Donald D. Shamblin and Deliliah Blevins Shamblin.

Dennis was an Exceptional Children’s Teacher at Cape Fear High School, he was also a proud Veteran of the United States Coast Guard, loved playing disc golf and playing with his dog.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Linda M. Choate of the home; children, Amber Anne Shamblin & spouse, Joyua of CA, Jessica Bardin & spouse, Brian of Hope Mills; step-sons, Alexander and Ethan Leymeister both of Fayetteville; and brother, Charles Wyatt of Fayetteville.
