Mr. Dennis Westbrook, 59

Mr. Dennis Westbrook, 59 of Roseboro, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home.

He was born on July 11, 1957 in Cumberland County and is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Norva Christine Lee Westbrook; and brothers, Joseph Ray Westbrook, Charles Westbrook. He worked with DuBose Strapping of Clinton.

Dennis loved to clown around and cut up with everybody. His witty personality will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Dawna Lucas Westbrook; step-son, Ben Brooks and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Dillan, Mercedes, Matt, Skylar, Tyler; brothers, Stanley Westbrook, Robert Earl Westbrook, James “Babe” Westbrook; sisters, Martha Mathews, Sarah Harris; niece and caregiver, Tina Westbrook; mother-in-law, Mickey Raines; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday, October 26, at Peters Creek Baptist Church, 13176 Peters Creek Church Road, Roseboro, with Pastor David Bays officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7:00pm to 9:00pm Tuesday at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
