Mrs. Denise A. Mcdonald, 46

ROSEBORO Mrs. Denise Annette McDonald, 46 of 3460 Corinth Church Road, died on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her home. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. at Roseboro United Methodist Church with Rev. Bobby Herring, Rev. Andy Wood and Rev. Gilbert Owens officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah United Methodist Church Cemetery. Mrs. McDonald was born on May 17, 1964 and was a native of Sampson County. She is preceded in death by: her father, Elbert Venton Spell, Sr.; and her brother, E.V. Spell, Jr. She was a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and a treasured friend to many people. She was a beloved lifetime member of Beulah United Methodist Church and was a Registered Nurse for 26 years. Mrs. McDonald is survived by: her husband, Clay McDonald of the home; one daughter, Meredith McDonald of the home; one sister, Trudy Spell of Roseboro; her mother, Gertrude Spell of Roseboro; three nephews, Jason Spell of Roseboro, Mathew McDonald and Michael McDonald both of Fayetteville; one niece, Lindsay Shwaikeh of Coats; one sister-in-law, Becky Spell of Dunn; one brother-in-law, Wade McDonald of Fayetteville; and her mother-in-law, Frances B. McDonald of Fayetteville. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home.
