Mrs. Denise Williams Barnes, 56

AUTRYVILLE Mrs. Denise Williams Barnes, 56 of 893 South River Road, Autryville, died on Friday, March 7, 2014 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Spell and Bishop Warren H. Barfield, Sr. officiating. Burial will follow at the Williams Family Cemetery, Autryville. Mrs. Barnes was born on January 19, 1958 in Cumberland County to Charlie Amon and Frances Imperato` Williams. She is preceded in death by her father and worked as a Teacher's Assistant in Early Childhood Development at Fayetteville Technical Community College. She is survived by: her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Steve Alan Barnes of the home; one loyal son, Nicholas Alan Barnes and wife, Melissa of Ammon; her mother, Frances Williams of Autryville; one brother, Larry Williams and wife, Barbara of Autryville; one sister, Nancy Norris and husband, Lee of Eastover; two grandchildren, Koltlyn Barnes and Kimberlin Barnes; her mother-in-law, Doris Johnson of Autryville; one sister-in-law, Deborah Williams and friend, Hubert Jones of Autryville; nieces and nephews, Robin Marley, Larry Williams, II, Misty McLamb, Kevin Norris, Marie Smith and Kasey Johnson; and special friends, Brenda and Joe Mauldin of Mocksville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
