Ms. Delores Horne-Tyler, 81 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman, officiating will be Pastor Brant Jackson and Pastor Jerry Horne.  The family will receive friends after the service at The Battle For Christ Church, 1726 Harper Street, Fayetteville, NC  28312.

Delores was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Horne and Annie Dare (James) Horne; husband, Dennis Tyler; and her siblings, Milton Horne, Betty Jo Washburn, William Boyd Horne, Judy Ann Wilkes, David Horne, and Ronald Wayne Horne.

Delores loved singing country and gospel music, which she did for most of her life.  She was a member of Battle For Christ Church in Fayetteville.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Kathleen Costner of Parkton, William Haines of Ohio, and Lisa Craig of Eastover; grandchildren, Shannon Leigh Costner & fiance`, Vanessa Snyder of Parkton, Megan Katie Vinson & husband, Larry of Stedman, Michael Chase Figueroa & wife, Latoya of Stedman, Christopher Haines, Aaron Haines, Brandon Haines, Kaitlyn Haines, and Danny Jo Craig; and 9 great grandchildren.
