Mrs. Delma Grace Blackwell, 76 passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at Colonial Heights Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Colonial Heights, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Rev. Andy Wood. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Memorial Cemetery.

She is born in Sampson County to the late David L. Beard and Berta Carter Beard. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Edward F. Blackwell and brothers, Jody & Kenny Beard.

She is survived by her son, Robert Blackwell & wife, Georgia; granddaughter, Madison Blackwell; step-sons, David and Tony Blackwell; sisters, Peggy Schaffer, Irene Mashburn, Judie Vinson, Diane Adkins and Lisa Horne; and a brother, Tommy Beard.
