Mrs. Delitha Spell Baggett, 90 of 5573 High House Road, Roseboro, died on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, April 16, 2012 at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. Sam Gore and Rev. Donald Keith Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Clinton.
Mrs. Baggett was born on June 17, 1921 in Sampson County to the late Joe Robert and Vara Sessoms Spell. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Granville Baggett; her son, Larry G. Baggett; one sister, Dixie Honeycutt; and two brothers, R.H. Spell and Darius Spell. She was a charter member of Freedom Baptist Church. She retired from Black & Decker in Fayetteville and Hargrove's Laundry in Clinton.
She is survived by: her daughter, Kaye Warwick and husband, Gary of Roseboro; her granddaughter, Teresa Warwick of Raleigh; and her special caregiver, Linda Meeks of Salemburg.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Freedom Baptist Church, 2099 Tyndall Bridge Road, Salemburg, and other times at the home.
